Dynamics-Nav implementation for auto parts manufacturing firm

Challenge

We helped the customer in automating their entire sales, finance, manufacturing, inventory, purchase processes with implementing Dynamics NAV 2013.

The process involved was with a system study, gap analysis, customization and then implementation. The rollout was done for 40 user license with a time line of 2 months.

The special requirement was to customize the inventory, purchase processes which are specific to item level details and  BOM (Bill of Material)

Solution

We proposed Dynamics NAV ERP (2013) solution as a back office ERP and POS (Point of Sale) which is bespoke development in Microsoft.net. The back office ERP will take care of inventory, purchase, finance, accounts, analytics, warehouse, sales.

Around 42 stores have been integrated with central back office ERP with an update of inventory every half an hour.  The POS solution has features like MENU, ORDER, BILLING. Each store/bakery has a local inventory which is connected to main warehouse.

Results

The Dynamics NAV ERP is centralized at HO (Head Quarter) with Dashboard and Analytics for Management Information System.
